IMET commercializes a unique Diesel Particular Filter (DPF) patented technology for a newly created DPF market demand in response to the enforcement of the US National Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA) to safeguard public health from toxic and cancer-causing diesel particulate matter(PM) pollutant from diesel-powered engines. Just like “Catalytic Converters” mandated for all gasoline vehicles since 1975, “DPF” technology is now mandated for all types of diesel engines such as trucks, cars, off-road equipment, locomotives, and Ocean Going Vessels in the USA, starting from 2012-2016. The GreenPower™ DPF-Hydrated EGR system (“GP-DPF ”) product in the USA is protected by Rim’s two (2) active US Patents issued in 2005 and 2009.
