Project Manager (Bilingual – English/Korean) – 3PL Automotive Operations (Opelika, AL)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead and manage a key 3PL logistics operation serving major Automotive OEM and Tier 1 Supplier customers. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure service excellence, and maintain strong relationships with customer accounts. This role requires bilingual communication (English/Korean) and a solid understanding of logistics, quality, and customer service in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts.
- Oversee all logistics activities including inbound, outbound, storage, and transportation.
- Handle customer requests, issues, and service requirements promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate and support resolution of any quality issues related to logistics handling, repacking, or part condition.
- Collaborate with quality teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare and provide quotations for special work requests (e.g., repacking, rework, labeling, or additional handling).
- Analyze logistics and quality performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support new project launches, SOP implementation, and process improvements.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams (operations, logistics, quality, admin, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Communicate with customers and external partners to coordinate schedules, priorities, and service requirements.
Qualifications
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Korean (required)
- Strong MS Excel skills – able to analyze data and create reports efficiently
- Proven experience in Production, Quality, or Customer Account Management, preferably in logistics or manufacturing
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong ownership mindset and desire for long-term career growth
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in 3PL, automotive, or warehouse operations
- Understanding of SOP implementation and process improvement
- Experience managing customer-facing projects or quality-related tasks
