Canoe Livery Season Begins at Gallup
Gallup Park canoe and kayak rentals open for the season on Saturday, April 20. Gallup Park boat rentals will be open every day (weather dependent), 11 a.m.-7 p.m. including Easter Sunday. Gallup will be offering stillwater paddling in 2.5 mile Gallup Pond and the 1.5 hour 3.7-mile river trip. Natural Area Preservation (NAP) Events
Earth Day Stewardship Work Day, Saturday, April 20, Cedar Bend Nature Area, 1-4 p.m. Meet us at the Island Park parking lot, at the end of Island Drive. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. All participants must complete a release form, and all minors should be accompanied by a guardian. Tools, snacks, and know-how provided.
Nature Walk with NAP and the Ann Arbor District Library
Join us at Mary Beth Doyle Park for a family-friendly nature walk through this beautiful park on Thursday, April 25, 6-7:30 p.m. Meet at the parking lot off Packard Rd., across from Easy Street. Wear comfortable clothes and bring water if desired.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Day at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market
Join us Saturday, April 20 for CSA day (8 a.m.-3 p.m.) where you can meet the farmers that offer CSA’s and sign up for a subscription box of weekly produce. Receive a free market t-shirt if you register this weekend. Alexander the Magician will perform a live magic show at 11 a.m. followed by a second performance at noon.
