East Meets East: A Concert of Traditional East Asian Music

Recording artists Dr. Kyoung Sun Cho (Seoul National University of Education) on geomungo and Dr. Seungmi Suh (Gyeongin National University of Education) on daeguem with Dr. Yuening Liu (Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing) and Xuanye Mi (Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing) on yangqin will bring the traditional music of East Asia to Michigan in a concert harmonizing string instruments of Korea (geomungo) and China (yangqin) with the wind (daegeum). For more, please click here.
